Sasha Naiman is the Deputy Director of the Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC). Sasha oversees OJPC’s organizational operations, assists in setting organizational strategies, and provides legal representation for incarnated people and people with criminal records in the community. Sasha launched OJPC’s initiative to help survivors of human trafficking expunge criminal records and fully reintegrate into society. Sasha has conducted presentations statewide about overcoming criminal-records barriers, including educating employers about the benefits of “Second Chance” hiring. She is also actively involved in OJPC’s policy advocacy. 

After completing her B.A. (English, Political Science), magna cum laude, at Boston University in 2008, Sasha joined OJPC as a Paralegal Advocate. In 2012, she received her Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis. During law school, Sasha worked for the St. Louis Equal Housing Opportunities Council, the Juvenile Rights and Reentry Clinic, and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Access to Justice Initiative (in Washington, D.C). 

Sasha currently serves on the Board of Cincinnati’s Jewish Community Relations Council, Advisory Board for the Cincinnati Center for Employment Opportunities, Advisory Board for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College Paralegal Program, Steering Committee for Beacon of Hope Business Alliance, Legal Advisory Committee of Cincinnati Works, and City of Montgomery Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
