Verjine Adanalian is an attorney with the Second Chance Project. She joined the Ohio Justice and Policy Center in June 2018. She provides legal services, outreach, and education, specializing in the legal needs resulting from human trafficking and a variety of civil legal issues arising from victimization. Additionally, Verjine is an adjunct professor at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where she teaches classes focusing on human trafficking and criminal justice to graduate students in the Applied Behavioral Sciences master’s program.
Verjine spent the majority of her law school career advocating for human rights and serving underprivileged people in the community, including as: a legal intern at the Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio; a certified legal intern at the University of Cincinnati Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic; and a volunteer attorney for the Immigrant and Refugee Law Center.
Verjine graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of the internationally-acclaimed Human Rights Quarterly.
