Ohio Justice & Policy Center

Alyssa joined the OJPC in Feb. 2018. Alyssa works primarily with OJPC’s Second Chance Project, which helps returning citizens secure employment, education and/or housing after incarceration. Alyssa is also based at Cincinnati Works for part of the workweek, where she’s able to connect with more clients in need of legal help.

Alyssa earned a Bachelor’s degree in history and a post-baccalaureate certification in paralegal studies from the University of Cincinnati. She previously worked at Slovin & Associates as a new claims manager, O’Connor Acciani & Levy as a case manager and at Dr. Kerry Temar’s office in Kenwood as an office manager.

Alyssa joined the OJPC team because she wanted to advocate for people who are hindered by collateral consequences of a criminal conviction.
